I love these ideas. I think something else that needs to be mentioned is the style of the home. We recently moved from a Victorian home to a ranch style home. Although our furniture and decor looked great in our other home, the same decor just doesn’t work and flow very well in our new home. I think the decor and style is just as important as the surroundings. Thank you for the great ideas!

I’ve always loved Moroccan tiles. Few months ago i had my kitchen and my bathroom redone and i used Moroccan mosaic tiles for my kitchen backsplash and my shower walls as far as the floors i used glazed emerals green Moroccan subway tiles known as Bejmat. I also ordered two large custom contemporary Moroccan pendant lights for my kitchen and bathroom.

I have a very small bathroom and I decided to go with the spa look which is very clean line, uncluttered and I guess you could say crisp looking. I have all white tile and fixtures. So I kept the wall color a soft neutral taupe but I added white towels and clear jars for things like cotton balls etc. The white towels I found were a very cool find because I was able to get our initial embossed on them for that real spa feel. (You can see them if you go to “elegantlinenspc” com. Look under towels.) I love them! They really made the décor of the bathroom. Everyone who sees them comments on how much they like them. I don’t think my bathroom would look as spa like with out that final touch of elegance.
